Electrostatic filters Buchel are a comprehensive solution against oil mist, oil smoke, plasticizer fumes and emulsion mist. The high separation performance, especially of ultrafine particles smaller than <0.001mm, is 96-99% ensured by a simple, but the most effective structure. The polluted air is drawn in by a vibration damping fan and first enters a mechanical pre-purification filter which separates larger particles of pollutants and ensures an even distribution of the air flow. The pre-cleaning filter is followed by the so-called ionizer. Here, the remains of fine particles of pollutants are continuously positively charged with the help of electrons and ionized air molecules at intervals of seconds.
The collector manages the air cleaning itself. It is formed by a series of vertical metal plates placed parallel to the flow of harmful substances. Inside the collector, positively charged particles of pollutants are deflected into the induction electric field in the direction of the grounded plates. The vertical position of the metal plates guarantees excellent drainage behaviour, as the separated harmful substances can simply siphon away. The collector plates, where the dirt is separated, can be cleaned and reused. We can perform this service for you in our modern cleaning facility. Ecological disposal of harmful substances is a must. Our filter systems are also available in two-stage or several stages of execution. In case of installation in ventilation systems, it is also possible to supply filters without a fan (XB device).
